Happy 65th Anniversary ACF!

Having arrived in Britain as a Viennese schoolboy in 1938, it was through this wonderful institution that I could later explore my Austrian cultural heritage. Here was a venue that provided free lectures, concerts, films, art exhibitions – and above all a meeting-place for émigrés, young and old, and their English friends.

Over the years these events have been hosted in the most welcoming manner by a succession of impressive Directors and their expert staff. Thank you, ACF!
